.........Still waiting........I will feel much better once the seller signs these papers. It sort of "sets in stone" that  they are in contract with us... However, I saw that there was a price drop two days ago on the property online, and that isn't exactly a good sign, is it? They only dropped the price a few thousand (online that is), but why would the websites show their price drop, or why would they drop the price if they already accepted our offer? I mean, nothing is in stone until they sign the papers so they could definitely entertain other offers, but since they are the ones who accepted, you'd think they would sign. I hope this doesn't mean they are going to wait LONGER to see if somebody will bite.

This house has been on the market for months now and the hubbs and I don't care so much about the future value of the home as much as we just want this nice home to raise our family in! :( Obviously the seller cares about getting a good price, and even though I doubt that others will bite (I have been visiting the links to this house on all the real estate sites repeatedly out of excitement), it makes me sad that our hands are now tied until the seller both in word AND in deed accept our offer. We thought we were over the first hurdle when our offer was "accepted," but until they sign the same papers we did, well...Let's just say I am eagerly awaiting our agent to confirm that they've signed and we can get the ball rolling. *sigh* I will be very sad if somebody DOES swoop in at the last minute and take this house from us. It feels like ours.

...still waiting....
