Crazy night

My husband and I had ordered a cake from Carlo's bakery in NJ Carlos bakery.JPG.jpg

were going to pick it up yesterday, but had a little problem with out daughter...

See, TUESDAY we took her to the doctor (she was and is absolutely fine), but she got two shots (my guess is DPT and Hep...I didn't ask because I figured all infants go through rounds of vaccinations).

She was absolutely fine all of Tuesday, and then Wednesday spiked a fever of 102. She was not a happy camper. We tried to give tylenol, but that seemed to induce projectile vomiting. After the vomiting, we gave a bottle (which we managed to sneak a bit of Tylenol into), and that helped to bring the temperature down. Point is, we obviously could not travel 2.5 hours away for a cake when our little girl was sick!

....then last night she started something she has never done before - Tatum (our daughter) woke up SCREAMING with no apparent insult or injury involved - just screaming. We put her down, only to have her wake up AGAIN, screaming AGAIN...This was new. Shot induced? Maybe. Tylenol induced? I don't think so. She was fine, just freaking out and wer're not sure why. Needless to say, the hubs and I are tired and weary today.

We love our little peanut, but my goodness!

At least we were able to postpone cake pick-up until Monday! Road Trip!
